ELECTROLYSIS
Electrolysis is a method of removing individual hairs from the face or body, using a device that destroys the hair growth from the root of the hair with heat energy using a fine probe inserted into the follicle.
Why would I need Electrolysis?
Laser hair removal is not suitable for all skin types or all hair colours. Red, white, blonde and grey hairs do not have enough pigment in them for the hair removal lasers to target.
How does Electrolysis work?
Electrolysis is a method of removing individual hairs from the face and body by the form of RF Thermolysis.
Most areas of the face and body can be treated and as it doesn't target hair colour like lasers it can successfully treat blonde, red, white and grey hair.
Several treatments are required and the number of sessions will vary from person to person with most patients having to return once a week or every 2 weeks as necessary as the hair grows in several different stages, so multiple sessions are required.
Excessive hair growth can be attributed to many factors such as hereditary stress hormones and some medications.
