What Are Anti-Wrinkle Injections?

The injected product is a natural, purified protein that relaxes the muscles that contract when you form facial expressions. The result is a softening of the treated areas giving you a more youthful, fresher appearance.

This treatment is also ideal for people that suffer from excessive underarm sweating, with results lasting up to 7 months.

Medical Lasers trained medical professionals will discuss treatment options during your initial consultation to ensure the best results for you.

DERMAL FILLERS

Injection cosmetology

What Are Dermal Fillers?

The injected product is a smooth injectable gel made from a natural complex sugar called hyaluronic acid (HA) that helps to reduce the appearance of facial wrinkles, lines and skin folds whilst giving definition to the face. Treatment is very effective in filling lines, plumping up and restoring volume to the skin to give a more youthful appearance. Areas that can be treated with dermal fillers include lip border and volume, naso-labial folds (from nose to corner of the mouth) and cheek definition. The advantage of dermal fillers is they give a very natural and subtle result.

How Does The Procedure Work?

The treatment can take between 15 to 30 minutes. Some dermal fillers may contain a local anaesthetic to localise the area and minimise discomfort. Ice may be used as a pre and post treatment to help numb the area and minimise any swelling.

The level of discomfort from treatment varies between individuals. It also depends on which product is used and what area is being treated as some areas can be more sensitive than others.

How Long Does The Treatment Last?

The effects of the treatment can last between 6 to 18 months depending on the area treated and the type of product used.

Are There Any Side Effects?

Most patients suffer no side effects after treatment, but you may experience site redness, discomfort, firmness, swelling and bruising. These effects generally resolve within a few days.

You should be able to resume normal activities after treatment.

What Are The Costs?

Each treatment plan is individual. A fully costed treatment plan will be discussed during consultation and prior to treatment.
